With R-derma® you move towards a low environmental impact and a second life for waste. It consists of 60% recycled material within the polyethylene layer.

• Reduction of the CO2 emissions : 18%* reduction of the carbon footprint compared to a traditional polylam material sparkling foil or Elite capsule in a standard size.
• Using waste as a valuable resource for our production. We are using up to 60% certified recycled material within the polyethylene layer, allowing to give post-industrial PE waste a second life.

* Study conducted by e3 Brescia, 2015 comparing a traditional polylaminate material with the new glueless Derma® material. Independent Life Cycle Assessment (cradle to gate) conducted by the Milan University 2021, comparing Derma® with the new R- Derma® (including 60% recycled PE), Both studies use a standard size capsule and sparkling foil.
