KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's IT systems and software applications, with a particular focus on ERP systems based on FileMaker and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The role ensures the efficiency, security, and continuous evolution of IT processes, supporting both the operational and strategic needs of the business.

IT SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT & MAINTENANCE

  • Gather, analyze, and define business requirements to design and implement customized software solutions.
  • Configure, customize, maintain, and enhance the FileMaker ERP system.
  • Design and develop solutions using FileMaker and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to optimize business processes.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform data analysis, testing, and mass data update activities.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT & DOCUMENTATION

  • Provide technical support to end users, troubleshooting issues related to systems and business applications.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update technical and functional documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define the functional and technical requirements of software development projects.

INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the digital transformation and continuous improvement of business processes in line with the company's strategy.

 

 

Job description

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in software development, preferably within a manufacturing or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (SQL, C#, C/AL, AL, PHP) and a basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with the FileMaker platform.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage projects, and achieve results.

Essential Requirements

  • Fluent English; knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is considered an advantage.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and software development methodologies.
