Each year, Le Muselet Valentin releases an exclusive artistic collection of wirehoods for Champagne and sparkling wines. For this 12th edition, the only French wirehood manufacturer takes us on a visual journey into the heart of the swinging sixties, with a series full of bold color and character.

Designed for Champagne and sparkling wine producers, Art Collection No.12 is now available for pre-order until May 14, 2025.

Le Muselet Valentin unveils the twelfth edition of its artistic wirehood series for Champagne and sparkling wines: Art Collection No.12. A limited series of six original models inspired by the Pop Art movement.

Each wirehood pays tribute to celebration, sharing, and the effervescence of life’s best moments. With this retro-vintage collection full of playful contrasts, Le Muselet Valentin boldly asserts its creative flair by blending traditional craftsmanship with modern visual language.

VIRTUO, NEW CAP MADE FROM PURE TIN 100% RECYCLED FOR WINE & SPIRITS BOTTLES, COMBINING ELEGANCE AND DURABILITY

 The Rivercap brand, part of the Crealis Group, a benchmark player in the field of overcaps for the wine and spirits industries, unveils its latest innovation: the “Virtuo” cap. Made from pure tin 100% recycled, this new cap embodies a subtle balance between aesthetics and environmental commitment, marking a step towards more sustainable packaging. 

An innovation that combines luxury and responsibility 

The name “Virtuo” takes its origin from “Virtuoso”, referring to excellence in craftsmanship, irreproachable ethics and perfect harmony between aesthetics and sustainability. Created in a single piece from recycled pewter ingots of the highest purity, this single-material cap offers unique personalization possibilities, identical to all pewter caps, thanks to embossing and debossing techniques and top-of-the-range finishes. With its depth of color and remarkable tactile qualities, “Virtuo” enhances every bottle, while meeting the durability requirements of every brand.  

A CONCRETE commitment TO SUSTAINABILITY 

Beyond its elegance, “Virtuo” stands out for its exceptional environmental performance. The capsule is up to 99% recyclable (1) and reduces its carbon footprint by 61% (2) compared to conventional tin capsules. The recycled tin, mainly from the electronics industry, has the same purity and performance qualities as virgin tin, without compromising on decoration or bottling efficiency.

(1) The recyclability score for the TinClass cap (31.5 x 55 mm, skirt) represents the percentage of material that can be recovered after use, enabling reuse through high-quality recycling and contributing to the creation of economic value. This recyclability score is certified by Cyclos-HTP. Countries where an efficient recycling route, collection and recycling structure are well established: EU, UK, Norway and Switzerland. 

(2) The 61% reduction in carbon footprint reported results from a comparison between a conventional TinClass cap and a TinClass cap made from 100% recycled tin. The conventional TinClass cap (100 microns thick, Ø 31.55 mm x H 55 mm, 1/25 taper) was analyzed as part of an independent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) carried out by Deloitte. For the recycled tin cap, the carbon footprint estimate is based on data from the material, 100% recycled tin.
