LE MUSELET VALENTIN

For over 60 years, the spirit of innovation, creativity and craftsmanship has driven the creations of Muselet Valentin. Based in the Champagne region (France), Valentin is the unique french expert in the manufacture of wirehoods. Our company is renowned for its high-quality ART & CRAFT wirehoods, as well as its industrial and artisanal know-how.

Process

Respectful of its historical values and inspired by the present, our artisans craft exceptional pieces with the greatest precision. An expertise recognized and rewarded by the “Entreprise Du Patrimoine Vivant” (EPV) label since 2012.

Within Le Muselet Valentin, production is divided in two complementary machine fleets:

  • Workshop B, with 35 unique machines developed in-house and built on site between the early 1960s and the late 1980s, which now produce around 850,000 wirehoods a day. That is to way, more than 2 out of every 3 Valentin wirehoods are produced on these historic machines.
  • Whorshop SP, equiped with machines which the process is integrated and robotized. Thanks to these machines, it is possible to center the decoration of the top disc with the cage in order to have a print on the skirt between the legs.
